Soccer Convention....

I don't type in color much ..I found going to this convention for just a few hours that soccer in pgh is a sad subject lots of stuff going on in other states that make us look sad!
So now that i'm not playing as much as i use too.!! I have a new goal in life..other than my first priorities which are my kids.....I am going to help out as much as i can to make soccer in pgh Better.... Don't know how yet ... but this over 25 womens team which I'm giving much thought too lately.... is MY START and hopefully OUR start!......

things to think about and i want comments on this......

1. other states found that an over 23 league was the way to start.... this doesn't leave out those that are done with college which would have to wait a few years to start again at 25....those 3 years i hear make all the difference when trying to keep in touch with women who would keep playing..... many are lost between those years and never return.

2. Future...... maybe this isn't realistic in a year but hope within a few years... adding over 30 league.... don't laugh.... there are some over 50 leagues yes women!!!

3. I'm hoping to be able for this year to get a few managers....for each area.... that way we can get people from the same area on teams.... but not as a rule just as a contact person....
then those managers can just go to meetings and let "their" people know whats going on.

4. i'll try to think of a place anyone is interested can meet and have a good discussion about this...hopefully sooner than later... "get to know" party or something ...any ideas.....
